Learn About the Planets in Our Solar System

Wednesday's Flipped Lesson!

Our objective for this lesson is to be able to name the eight planets in our Solar System and recognize key features of each. By the end of this lesson you will be able to organize information about each planet using a graphic organizer. You will be able to compare and contrast the inner and outer planets.

First, learn about all the planets by watching this short music video.

Next, you will be assigned to one specific planet.  Watch the youtube link for the planet that you are responsible for.  Your name will be by the link.  On a piece of paper, list all the facts you have learned about that planet from the video.  Bring the facts to school on Thursday.  Don't forget to write the facts in your own words.  If you want to watch the other youtube links, go ahead, but you only need to take notes for the one you are assigned.  ENJOY!
